It’s an unassuming Monday night in March, around 11pm. Fresh from supporting Sunflower Bean in the club room at OPEN, London upstarts Sorry are thirsty for a wild night out. Fat chance. Enticed by the prospect of £1 shots (practically a fairytale compared to the prices at home) we end up at local hotspot The Mischief. Tequila is promptly consumed, pool cues acquired.

North London up-and-comers Sorry are never short of a good plot twist. Their second single ‘2 Down 2 Dance’, out on Domino Records, starts soft with a glitchy click track and Asha Lorenz’ lamenting, chalky vocal, before flourishing into a silvery treasure of a song. In the accompanying video, eerie shots of the band are interspersed with ballet dancers, explained to Dork Magazine by Lorenz: “Ballet dancers can seem so graceful and shy when they move, you are content to just watch as they strive for perfection. We hope the song and video go hand in hand mirroring both the beauty and subtle sadness in their movements.”
