The Glitter Shop premiere their new video for ‘Throwing Apples’

Hey folks. Been a while hasn’t it? Well fear not, we’re back with a fresh coat of paint and a brand new release from our Suffolk compadres The Glitter Shop to warm the cockles of your collective hearts. It’s out this Friday, but we’ve got an exclusive preview 🔥

‘Throwing Apples’ is about “an incident involving apples being thrown at lorries and smashing their windows. Even though I didn’t actually throw any apples myself, I felt guilty for just being there when it happened”, explains singer/bassist Harry Dale. “The general message of the song is about the guilt I feel for things that don’t matter anymore, or silly things I said years ago”.

The track is a quickfire smash, and the accompanying video finds the band – completed by Ruby Smith (keys) and Barnaby Cutter (guitar) – adventuring and playing equally frenzied gigs around the UK, including at the very first ADM live showcase at Norwich Arts Centre last year. Keep your eyes peeled for fellow performers from that night, Ugly 👀

The Glitter Shop will be dropping by The Waterfront Studio in Norwich this very Friday alongside The Meeks and Aphra. You can also catch them at the following:

29 The Hope & Ruin, Brighton (w/ Luna Blue)
3 The Portland Arms, Cambridge
12 The Smokehouse, Ipswich (w/ Tugboat Captain)
4 The Hunter Club, Bury St. Edmunds
