Norm’s ongoing local showcase nights at Bedford’s have seen a whole host of names visit the crypt for eerie, intimate performances. Now, it’s UEA-based teen dream Ellie Bleach’s turn. Expect pithy lyrics, kitschy, elevator-style melodies, and an eccentric clothing ensemble.



Thyla plus Ugly, The Glitter Shop
Saturday 12th May, Norwich Arts Centre

ADM is putting on a gig! Our first foray into the promoting game will be headlined by Brighton juggernauts Thyla, who have supported the likes of InHeaven and Sunflower Bean, with support from Cambridge scamps Ugly and Bury St Edmunds newcomers The Glitter Shop. Don’t miss it.



Peace plus whenyoung, Zuzu
Tuesday 15th May, The Waterfront

Birmingham heroes Peace are back with ‘Kindness Is the New Rock and Roll’, a 70s-inspired new album that builds on the Britpop-y foundations of their past efforts. With support from rising Dublin trio whenyoung and Liverpool singer/songwriter Zuzu, the whole night looks like it’ll be one to remember.



Rose Dive plus Pretty Ace, Tundra
Friday 18th May, The Waterfront Studio

This budding SW London quartet offer dream pop in its rawest form, blended with indie hooks to create a rich and powerful wall of sound. Check out their new single ‘Reverie’, which contains essences of Wolf Alice and Daughter.



Amanda Palmer plus Andrew O’Neill
Sunday 20th May, OPEN

Those good folks over at the Norfolk & Norwich Festival are putting on a whole host of music and arts shows this month, including none other than Dresden Dolls icon Amanda Palmer. This stripped-back evening promises to be raw and cathartic.



Sunday Sessions: Kaiser Chiefs plus Tom Odell, Circa Waves
Sunday 27th May, Earlham Park

Sunday Sessions Norwich is a new festival set to take Earlham Park by storm this May bank holiday. Heading up the bill, indie uncles Kaiser Chiefs will be joined by piano maestro Tom Odell, as well as Circa Waves, British Sea Power, and way more.



Twin Atlantic plus The Pale White, Bellevue Days
Wednesday 30th May, The Waterfront
